BASIC UNIVERSAL LIFE BELIEFS (BULB)

BeReadyTheBeginningOfTheEnd

1. In the beginning God created heaven and earth.

2. God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created Him; male and female He created them.

3. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God , and the Word was
God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and
without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom
of the Father, He has declared Him.
As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children
of God, to those who believe in His name.

4. That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen
with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled,
concerning the Word of Life –
the life was manifested , and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you
that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us –
that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you may have
fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son
Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you,
that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have no sin,
we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

5. God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers
by the prophets has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has
appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person,
and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself
purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

6. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His
Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is
condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the
Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on Him.

7. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His
Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God
does not have life.

8. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked
one. And we know that the Son of God has come and given us an understanding,
that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son
Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

9. Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me.
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you .And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will
come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

10. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Himself bore our sins
in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for
Righteousness – by whose stripes we are healed.

11. Truely, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men
everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the
world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance
of this to all by raising Him from the dead. Nor is there salvation in any other,
for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be
saved.

12. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our saviour, who desires all men
to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and
one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a
ransom for all. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ
Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

13. The heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are
reserved for fire until the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly men.
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness,
but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that
all should come to repentance.

14. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that
God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved . For whoever calls on the
name of the Lord shall be saved.

15. You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honour and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.

THESE ARE BIBLICAL TRUTHS WORTHY OF BELIEF AND BEHAVIOUR FOR ALL.
