In, Through, and By:
What a tremendous thing to contemplate: the God of the universe has always had a desire to communicate with mankind. He has spoken to man through creation, flood, covenants, the law and prophets. However, His greatest means of communication was in, through and by His Son. He was the Word that became flesh. The Eternal Word became the Man with a message from the holy and loving God. The Lord Jesus Christ is the final message to this world from God whom we have sinned against. His message is that there is a way to the Father-to be reconciled, redeemed and cleansed! All we can do when we read these verses is to bow our heads in worship and awe, realising the Lord Jesus Christ is indeed greater than anyone or anything. This is because of who He is and what He has accomplished for the glory of God and for the good of all those who come to God through Him. (Adapted from GT).

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
