Israel’s unbelief, disobedience, tempting of God, hardening of heart, idolatry:
All judged, send to captivity. Rejecting the Messaiah: ejected from the land and scattered.
SON OF MAN is one of the title names of Lord Jesus as the Judge of the universe.
At His first coming He offered Himself as a ransom for all through His death and resurrection. He came to save and not to judge.
At His second coming He will judge the universe in righteousness, both the living and the dead executing the wrath upon the unbelieving and ungodly. That is what we see through in the book of Revelation the opening of the seven seals, the blowing of the seven trumpets, pouring out of the seven bowls and the final great white throne judgement.
Here is the good news for the present in the concluding words of Jude:
But you beloved, building yourselves up in the most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Saviour Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
Choose Lord Jesus to be your saviour today and you are freed from judgement.
