Why did Christ have to be born? No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. He came to reveal God. He is God manifest in the flesh.
Why did Christ have to die? Christ gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.
Why did Christ have to be resurrected? If Christ is not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. His resurrection assures us eternity for us with Him.
Why did Christ have to ascend? So that the Father could send the Holy Spirit into the world.
So that Christ would be the believer’s High Priest.
Why does Christ have to come again? So that believers in Him might be gathered unto Christ into eternity.
So that Christ might establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace on earth.
